The American Medical Marijuana Professionals (AMMP) is holding the 8th Annual THC Expo March 16 through March 19 at The Roostertail in Detroit. AMMP said attendees don’t need a medical marijuana card but admission costs 20 dollars at the door.
AMMP said the event is sponsored by Michigan NORML, MI Legalize, Ultra Green Hydroponics, Bodacious Gardens and more and will include hundreds of vendors. They said doctors will be on site all weekend to provide certification (at a cost), education and entertainment.
They said Thomas MJ Lavigne of Cannabis Counsel will be giving a free seminar for licensure at least once each day plus many other scheduled speeches by leading experts in the industry. Also, they said there will be food, glass blowing demonstrations and an interactive paint booth sponsored by Puff Puff Paint.
Additionally, AMMP said there will be a Magic Vapor Bus that attendees can ride to a medicating site for an additional 10 dollars. They said attendees must either have a medical marijuana card or get certified by an on-site doctor before they’re able to ride the bus. After arriving at the medicating site, participants will have the opportunity to shop for medical marijuana-infused products.
